Born in Lower Saxony, Germany, Jenus Kahmke spent his formative years in London, England, where he trained as a goldsmith and - working with metal for 15 years - developed new techniques of employing precious metals like silver and gold.

In 2006 he moved to Berlin where he now lives and works, he is currently working with photography and screen printing, two fields he already studied extensively when he was still in education.

A volume of his images and poetry will be published by RISE in a hand printed edition and issued at the time of his first solo exhibition to be shown at Rise Berlin in 2010.
